Common questions
How do I restore maglo Plus on a new phone?
Open Profile, then maglo Plus, and tap "Restore purchases". The same button is in Settings. You need to be signed in to the App Store with the Apple ID you bought Plus with. Plus is a one-time purchase, so you never pay twice.
I bought Plus but the magnets are still locked.
Tap "Restore purchases" on the Plus screen or in Settings while you are online. If Plus does not come back, write to support@maglo.app and include the date of the purchase from your Apple receipt.
Can I get a refund?
Purchases are made through Apple, and Apple decides on refunds. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com with your Apple ID.
How do I put a magnet on the fridge?
Stamp a country first: tap the stamp button in the middle of the bar at the bottom and pick the country. Then tap the fridge in the kitchen, and tap a magnet in the tray or drag it onto the door.
My fridge is full. What now?
The free fridge holds 5 country magnets. The magnets you earn after that wait in the tray. maglo Plus unlocks all 197 country magnets, the city editions and a wider door, with one payment.
How do I add countries I visited before I had the app?
On the stamp screen, choose "Been to many places? Add them all at once", tick every country you have been to, and confirm. The app stamps them together.
How do I add a photo or a date to a magnet?
Tap a magnet you have earned, on the fridge or in the passport. Its card turns over: add the date of the trip, one photo and one line. All of it stays on your phone.
How do I change the kitchen?
In the kitchen, tap "Decorate". You can add, move and turn furniture, and change the walls, the floor, the fridge colour and the fridge size under "Style".
How do I add the widget?
Touch and hold an empty part of your home screen, tap the add button, search for maglo and pick the small or the medium widget. It shows your number of countries.
How do I change the language?
Open Profile, then Settings, then Language. maglo is in English and Turkish, and follows the language of your phone unless you choose otherwise.
What happens to my fridge if I delete the app?
maglo has no account and no server, so your fridge lives in the app on your phone. Deleting the app deletes it. maglo does not sync between devices; whether your data moves to a new phone depends on the backup of your old one.
How do I turn off the anonymous usage data?
Open Profile, then Settings, and switch off "Anonymous usage data". The app then sends no diagnostics at all.
