The short version. maglo is licensed to you under Apple's standard licence agreement. maglo Plus is a one-time purchase made through Apple, and refunds are handled by Apple. The website and its free map are offered as they are, free of charge.
Who these terms are with
maglo is made and published by Doğukan Önder, an independent developer in Türkiye. These terms cover the maglo app and the website maglo.app. If you have a question about them, write to support@maglo.app.
The app
The maglo app is licensed, not sold, under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "standard EULA"). By downloading or using the app you agree to it. Nothing on this page takes away from that agreement.
The magnets, the kitchen and the other artwork in the app are digital content inside the app. Collecting a magnet does not give you a physical object or any right to the artwork beyond using it in the app and sharing the images the app makes for you.
maglo Plus
- maglo Plus is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase. It is not a subscription and it never renews.
- The price is shown in the app before you pay. Apple sets it for your country and may include taxes.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase. Apple processes it under its own terms.
- You can restore Plus on another device that uses the same Apple ID with "Restore purchases", on the Plus screen and in Settings.
- Refunds are decided by Apple, not by me. You can ask for one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Your content
The countries, photos and notes you add stay on your phone and remain yours. I have no access to them (see the privacy policy). You are responsible for the images you choose to share from the app.
The website
You may use maglo.app, including the free countries visited map, for personal purposes. Please do not copy the site's artwork or text for other products, and do not try to disrupt or overload the site.
The numbers on the map (how many countries there are, which continent a country belongs to) follow the list the app uses and are meant for fun. They are not an official or political statement.
Names and artwork
The name maglo, the mascot, the magnets and the other artwork belong to Doğukan Önder. Apple, the Apple logo and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.
No warranty
The app and the website are provided as they are. I work to keep them correct and running, but I cannot promise that they will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from their use. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.
Changes
If these terms change, this page changes and the date at the top changes with it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country you live in still apply to you.
